Sunday School

Grace Church’s Christian Education for Children

Sunday school for children ages 4–12 years, meets at 10:30 am during the first half of the adult church service. Then the children join the congregation for the children's homily and Communion.

Our Sunday school curriculum is the multi-age “Seasons of the Spirit.” Children ages 4–12 meet in one or two groups, depending on attendance, and hear the week’s Bible story. The teachers guide a discussion of the story. Then, children participate in an activity—drama, music, craft. Sunday School concludes with a group prayer.

After Sunday school, the children join the adults in the Church for the 3-minute “Children’s Homily” mentioned above, and Communion.

Classes are led by a rotating team of parishioners. The “Seasons of the Spirit” curriculum includes prayer, song, arts and crafts and instruction.

Beginning in Advent Season of 2008, Grace initiated a special “Early Childhood Christian Education” program for our youngest members, ages 0–3.

All are welcome: those whose families attend regularly and those who simply “drop in.”

Child Care is available from 10 am–12:30 pm.
