An Evening of Jazz (and Blues and Folk), and Poetry
Tuesday, February 26
FEATURING:
Donal Leace, Guitar and Vocals
Conversation with the Artist:  6:15 p.m.;
among other things, Donal will talk about his visits to Grace Church in the '60's and '70's to play for anti-Vietnam War rallies
(light supper provided)
Performance:  7:30 p.m.

The following, written about Donal's most recent CD,
also serves to characterize his artistry more generally:
'"LEACE ON LIFE,' is just that, Washington singer-songwriter Donal Leace examining the way things are and aren't. His gentle tenor voice and bedrock optimism ensure that hope easily outweighs despair. Some of the songs are topical, others timeless, and all are simply and effectively arranged in a fashion that embraces everything from traditional folk and world beat to romantic pop and lightly swinging jazz."
